The top teams in both leagues battle for the LCS
The League Championship Series promises to be special. What makes this
year even more amazing is the top 4 teams in BYOF are here. Another
rarity is that both of these matchups contain teams who finished
first and second in their divisions.

American League
Matchup: Beartooth Bearhawks (111-51) vs. Alabama Braves (113-49)
Summary: All season it looked like Beartooth
was the class of the American League. Alabama stayed close all
season
and
won the division in
September. This series is all about the Braves pitching vs the
Bearhawks offense.
Beartooth has an amazing offense lead by Bonds,
Alex Rodriguez and Teixeira. Their pitching is good but not great.
Buehrle is their best pitcher but can't pitch game one because
he pitched in game 7 of the ALDS. Alabama is all about pitching.
If starters like Johnson and Oswalt were not enough they also bring
hard throwing Lidge and Billy Wagner out of the pen.
Prediction: Albama in 6 -- Alabama has a very good lineup and
great pitching to get this done.

National League
Matchup: Midgard Serpents (108-54) vs. Huntsville Hardballers
(109-53)
Summary: Both Huntsville and Midgard had great
seasons and battled for the division till the very end.
Despite their close records Hunstville
was the class of the National League. They have offense with
players like Pujols, Drew and Abreau. They also have lots of pitching
with Santana, Martinez and Halladay.
Midgard probably did the best managing job in BYOF this season.
Not blessed with the star names of the other three teams they
managed
to win 108 games and finish one game back of the divison. They
are lead offensively by Michael Young and Aramis Ramirez. Radke,
Benson and Oliver Perez lead the rotation.
Prediction: Hunstville
in 5 -- Hunstville has too much offense and pitching to make this
series go much more than 5
